BESIX Watpac wins contract for major airport expansion in South Australia
Supporting Adelaide’s 2050 aviation vision
To support Adelaide Airport’s long-term aviation strategy and growing passenger demand, BESIX Watpac will deliver a series of targeted upgrades. These include a larger check-in hall equipped with advanced technology, a 10,000 m² extension to the Northern Terminal, and a 5,500 m² expansion of the Southern Terminal. The expanded check-in area will feature new kiosks and additional bag-drop facilities, helping to create a more efficient and seamless experience for travellers.
With experience spanning major Australian airports and over 100 secure facility projects, BESIX Watpac brings a strong understanding of operational environments, where safety, service continuity and smooth commissioning are essential.
