Topping out celebrated on Triangle in Paris

The Triangle project in Paris has reached a major milestone with the topping-out of the building at 180 metres. The achievement was celebrated in attendance of colleagues, partners and subcontractors.

A symbolic milestone for the Triangle project

On Friday 27 April 2026, a traditional topping-out ceremony was held on the Triangle construction site in Paris to recognise the commitment and high-quality work of all teams involved. More than 600 colleagues, partners and subcontractors gathered on site to celebrate this key moment in the project’s delivery.

This symbolic milestone marks both the completion of the structural works and the moment when the building reached its highest point. It represents an important step forward for the project and a shared achievement for everyone contributing on site.

Steady progress across all disciplines

Beyond its symbolic value, the topping-out reflects the strong and steady progress of the works as a whole. Façade installation, as well as technical and architectural trades (CET and CEA), are advancing at a good pace throughout the building.

Thanks to close coordination between all parties, the project teams remain fully aligned to complete this landmark development by early 2027.

Close collaboration with partners and clients

Partners and subcontractors play a vital role in the success of Triangle. Their close and ongoing collaboration is essential to the project’s progress, and BESIX will continue to move forward together with them during the remaining phases. The company extends its sincere thanks to everyone involved for their professionalism, commitment and teamwork.

BESIX is proud to contribute to a project that reflects the vision of its clients UnibailRodamcoWestfield and AXA, brought to life by architects Herzog & de Meuron. The building will accommodate offices, a Radisson Blu hotel, retail spaces, a medical centre, a daycare facility, and an observation deck with a restaurant.

Designed to achieve high environmental performance, Triangle aims for leading certifications including BREEAM Outstanding, HQE Exceptional and Effinergie. The project integrates innovative solutions such as geothermal energy, photovoltaic panels, a double-skin façade and one of the largest bicycle parking facilities in Paris.

Once completed, Triangle will become a new architectural reference and a lasting addition to the Paris skyline.
